He has given presentations on wage and overtime claims, attorney fee awards, disability rights, workers’ compensation, and general employment law for the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the National Employment Lawyers’ Association, and has written articles on proving discrimination and attorney fee awards. He is a past president and board member, and current legislative committee member, and a member of Colorado’s preeminent legal singing group, the Denver Law Club. Judith has over 30 years experience practicing law in Colorado. She works to tailor an intellectual property protection program around your business’ unique needs – whether you are just starting a business, engaging employees or independent contractors, creating a new name for a product or service, developing or negotiating contracts, or preparing an advertising campaign. Her clients range from individuals to multi-national corporations.
Legal assistance includes: entity formation; trademark, copyright, and trade secret development, prosecution, protection, and management; drafting complex contracts (including government contracting and licensing); creating intellectual property standards, policies, and manuals; social medial and Internet law; publicity and privacy; due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and sales; defamation; real estate contract review and assistance; grant agreements; and mediation services.
Over her years in practice, she has worked in other varied areas including complex civil litigation, domestic issues, defamation, commercial and residential real estate, entity formation and maintenance, and more.
Judith was appointed to the Trademark Office Practices Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2016-2017 term. The committee evaluates and suggests improvements to trademark office practices, procedures, operations and regulations at the national, regional, and international levels. The committee monitors trademark office developments in various jurisdictions, complete analyses and propose policy recommendations to the Board. Work included report and submission writing and advocacy in conjunction with relevant INTA committees and staff.
In her spare time, Judith enjoys pilates, her two little white dogs, and inventing new recipes.
