Women in Business is back!

Join us on 9/21 at 6pm in Meeker for an inspirational evening with presenter Connie Baker, co-Founder and Queen Bee of the Marble Distilling Co. & the Distillery Inn in Carbondale. We will get our entrepreneur spirit reinvigorated with her start-up story and the challenges she has faced and opportunities discovered while building her business.   Connie Baker has more than 25 years of branded marketing experience and business leadership.
  The founder of Agenda West / Med-Agenda, a pharmaceutical communications company, she grew it from a start up to $13M in annual revenue over ten years, while managing 20+ employees in Carbondale and NYC offices. She was the key activator of positioning the company for accelerated growth and operational improvements that enabled the company to surpass expectations in a very competitive industry.

  A spirits enthusiast, Connie signed up to attend the Dry Fly Distilling Institute in 2010 (thinking she would be a hobbyist) and fell in love with distilling. Five years later Marble Distilling opened its doors and today is known as “The Most Sustainable Distillery on the Planet”, handcrafting award-winning spirits.

  She has a diverse background in commercial and residential development projects from investment to design to construction management and was instrumental in the day to day project management of the Marble building, which is one of the “greenest” commercial structures in the state and has won numerous awards for its sustainable building.
